GOLD ROSPA [Occupational Health & Safety Award]
It is with great pride that Scaffolding Access would like to announce they have just been awarded the GOLD ROSPA. SAL has achieved the Silver Award for the last couple of years, however this year we have just been notified that the GOLD has been awarded. We consider this a great achievement for Scaffolding Access.
3-YEAR ASBESTOS LICENCE
Following our recent Asbestos Renewal Audit, Scaffolding Access have been granted a new 3 Year Asbestos Licence, valid until June 2014. I would like to thank Chris Webber and Jane Day for their hard work in achieving this.
HACKNEY DECENT HOMES
Congratulations to Bob Sanderson. SAL has just been awarded a 5-Year Contract for Hackney Decent Homes. Scaffolding Access take great pride in their work for Mansells on the Hackney Decent Homes Project. Bob is our liaison manager with Mansells on this Project.
PETER LODGE
I would like to welcome Peter Lodge, our new Scaffolding Health & Safety Consultant, who has recently joined the company. Peter will be carrying out our site scaffolding inspections to ensure sites run safely and comply with legal requirements. I would like to wish him good luck in this new role.
JACK SATWICK
Jack has worked for the company for a couple of years now, and I felt the time was right to give Jack more responsibility. Therefore, it is with great pride I would like to wish my eldest son, Jack Satwick, the best of luck in his new position as Labour / Yard Manager.
JOHN HOWELLS
John has recently joined the company in the role of Senior Supervisor. John has many years experience in this field, and I am sure will be a great asset to the company.
HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING DAY
The company was closed on 8th April 2011 for Peter Lodge to run a Health & Safety Training Day on TG20:08 Guidance and SG4:10 [Preventing Falls in Scaffolding]. All members of staff and Sub-Contractors attended this meeting held at the Thurrock Hotel. Also in attendance were Representatives from some of our main clients, who found this meeting very informative. I would like to thank Peter for his time and efforts in putting this Presentation together.
